What You'll Find in OpenLearning

In OpenLearning, you can access learning materials for each unit of study you are enrolled in. Each unit will have its own course page, which usually includes:
  • The unit outline
  • Learning resources including the learner guide, lecture slides, supporting materials, and links to readings, videos, and articles
  • Communication tools including announcements and discussion forums
  • Assignment submission links
  • OpenLearning support chatbot

Accessing the Online Learning System (OpenLearning)

Once your enrolment is finalised, you will be automatically enrolled into your courses on OpenLearning.

You will receive two separate emails to your registered email address:

1. Login Details Email
This email will contain:
  • Your username (your registered email address)
  • Your temporary password

Use these details to log in to the OpenLearning platform.

2. Course Invitation Email
  • An invitation link to your enrolled course(s)

Please check your inbox and junk/spam folder to ensure you do not miss these emails.

Technical Requirements for Studying at ECA College

Students enrolled in most courses are required to have access to a computer with a current web browser, an active email address, the ability to submit assignments in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format, and reliable internet access. High-speed connections such as NBN, ADSL, Cable or equivalent are strongly recommended.

How to Recover or Change Your Password

  1. Go to the OpenLearning login page
  2. Click "Forgot password?"
  3. Enter your registered email address and follow the reset instructions sent to your email
