Entry Requirements
There are no stated entry requirements in the Training Package for entry into BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management. International students must be 18 years of age or above and provide evidence of the following published entry requirements as stated below: Academic Entry Requirements
- Year 11 or equivalent and above, and
English Language Entry Requirements:
- IELTS score 5.5 minimum (no lower than 5.0 in each band); or equivalent
Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.

Packaging Rules
To gain the qualification a successful assessment outcome for 12 units must be achieved.
- Total number of units = 12
The qualification is comprised of:
- 8 core units
- 4 elective units
Mode of Delivery
Face to face + Blended
Program Duration and Structure
52 weeks (40 weeks delivery plus 12 weeks term break) as follows:
- Face to face (online during COVID-19) classes – 15 hours per week
- Self-study – 5 hours per week
Timetable
Face to face classes are scheduled Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 9:00pm offering both day and evening sessions. Students are required to attend classes on campus or online 15 hours per week.

Assessment
Students are required to undertake a range of theoretical and practical assessments for each unit of competency. The methods of assessment will vary according to the requirements of each unit of competence and these include but are not limited to:
- Tests
- Case studies
- Projects
- Essays
- Portfolios
- Practical demonstrations
- Presentations
At the beginning of each term, students are provided with information for each unit of competency that clearly outlines the assessment tasks required including the criteria and due dates.
This qualification has a total of 12 Units of Competency

Exit Point/Award
Students that successfully complete all 12 units of competency as stated in the Course Content and Structure will be issued with BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management. This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Students that complete some but not all of the units of competency as stated in the Course Content and Structure may be issued with a Statement of Attainment. It will identify only those units of competence that have been completed as part of the qualification and recognised nationally under the AQF.
