The Certificate IV in Business is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In these roles people use skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

There are no stated entry requirements in the Training Package for entry into BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business.
International students must be 18 years of age and provide evidence of the following published entry requirements:
Year 11 or equivalent and above, and
English Language Entry Requirements:
IELTS score 5.5 minimum (no band less than 5.0); or equivalent.
Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area, delivered and assessed in English only, will be sufficient for meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.

Completion of 12 weeks of General English at Upper-Intermediate level or equivalent with a minimum B grade.
